Prayagraj: The Pratapgarh police have initiated measures to attach properties of three criminals Massan, Mohd Illiyas and Aleem alias Monu under the Gangster Act. The properties are worth Rs 45.30 lakhs.The action follows the order of the court of the district magistrate (Pratapgarh) to attach properties of criminals in Pratapgarh district. With cops taking effective measures against crime and criminals, orders have been issued to attach movable and immovable properties worth Rs 20 lakh belonging to Mohd Illiyas at village Ranjeetpur (Chilbila) under the limits of Kotwali nagar police station. The properties including a SUV and a factory will be attached. As many as four criminal cases are pending against Illiyas.Besides, properties worth Rs 8.30 lakh of Massan including a bike and a SUV were to be attached under Gangster Act. As many as 12 criminal cases are pending against Massan. Moreover, properties of criminal Aleem alias Monu worth Rs 17 lakhs which includes three SUVs have been attached under Gangster Act. Five criminal cases are pending against Aleem alias Monu.
