Brief rain no relief, city swelters at 40.6°C

Prayagraj: The denizens of the Sangam City are troubled by the sultry weather conditions. A brief spell of rains on Friday night failed to offer much-needed respite. The sultry weather condition has resulted an increase in cases of skin infection and dehydration in OPD’s of almost all the hospitals. On Saturday morning, there was overcast condition but humid weather condition prevailed through entire day.

Weather experts are of the opinion that such conditions would prevail for next 24 hours. Doctors have advised citizens to take preventive measures and focus on hydration as much as possible as numerous cases of the heat related ailments are being reported in local hospitals.
