Security measures beefed up at Chabad House in Pushkar

Ajmer: Security measures of Jews community centre, Chabad House in Pushkar have been increased after the blast near the Israeli embassy in New Delhi. Officials of intelligence agencies on Thursday reached Pushkar and inspected the security measures. Most of the Israeli tourists have gone back to their country after the Hamas attack in Israel but the Rabbi (priest) of Jews and some tourists continued to live in Pushkar. No one including the Indian officials were allowed inside the centre. The armed gunmen have been posted on the roof tops and outside the Chabad. Ajmer SP Chuna Ram Jat also inspected the security arrangements of the centre and directed to increase vigilance and activate informers.

ATS inspects Ajmer dargah area

The state police's Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) and Quick Response Team (QRT) inspected the dargah region ahead of the annual Urs. The team checked CCTV cameras and will submit a report to the home department. ATS officer Khan Mohammad met with locals in the dargah area and will talk to the dargah committee about security measures. The team inspected Panni gram, Dhan mandi, and Adhai Din ka Jhopra.

Israeli embassy pulls video imagining Hamas attack in Seoul

The Israeli embassy in South Korea has removed an inappropriate video showing an imaginary scenario of Koreans being attacked by masked assailants in Seoul. The video depicted a distressing situation where a South Korean woman is abducted and separated from her daughter by an armed assailant on Christmas Day. The video was posted on the embassy's social media, along with a message about an attack on Israel by Hamas terrorists. The Israeli embassy has taken down the video after the South Korean foreign ministry deemed it inappropriate and requested its removal.
