Ajmer cops nab wanted criminal

Ajmer: A wanted criminal facing 38 cases of murder, extortion and theft, among others, registered at police stations in Ajmer, Nasirabad, Jaipur, Chottorgarh and other districts, was arrested at Gegal here on Thursday. Nanda Gujar, 38, a resident of Hasiyawas near Gegal, was part of the drug mafia and transported drugs, said an officer.Gujar was wanted in a narcotics case registered at Gegal police station in October, and an arrest warrant for him was issued by a court. Ajmer SP Chuna Ram Jat said a team from Gegal police station seized a pickup truck with 602.5 kg of doda poppy and arrested Shivraj and Dinesh on October 6 while Nanda Gujar had managed to escape.“A special team was formed to arrest him, and efforts were on to trace him with help of the cyber cell. We got a tip-off that he came to his village, and we arrested him,” said Jat. tnn

Mumbai police arrest drug financier from Solapur

The Mumbai police crime branch has arrested the main accused, Kiran Kumar Birajdar, in connection with a drug manufacturing factory in Solapur. Birajdar, who was already in custody in Solapur jail, is a partner in the manufacturing firm and had provided the MD Production lab equipment. In October, the police raided Shree Shenky Industrial area and seized 8kg of MD and over 100kg of raw material. The police had previously arrested Rahul Gawli, Atul Gawli, and Jain in the case.

Andhra Pradesh Police crack Anantapur murder case; 11 arrested

Andhra Pradesh police arrest 11 individuals, including supari gang members, in connection with a sensational murder case. Mohammed Ali, missing since November 27, was brutally assaulted in a furniture godown and his body set ablaze. Shaik Mohammed Rafi, Ali's former friend and business partner, orchestrated the murder due to business losses. The police unraveled the complex murder plot and arrested all 11 accused, including Rafi and members of the supari gang.
