Aligarh woman shot before daughter’s eyes, 1 held
Agra: A 47-year-old woman was shot in the leg by two masked men riding a motorcycle while she was walking near her home with her daughter in Aligarh’s Niwari area on Saturday, police said. Rani Devi, who works at a factory, was admitted to the district hospital for treatment.
The incident, captured on CCTV cameras, triggered panic in the area. Residents rushed to the spot and alerted the police.
Police registered a case against five people after her husband filed a complaint at the Rorawar police station naming them. One of the named accused, Abuzar, has been taken into custody and is being questioned.”
