Gender diversity at top levels is still a goalpost that’s far away for several organisations. But not for this consumer products company. Kimberly-Clark India has a leadership team comprising 45% women.


Mainak Dhar, managing director, Kimberly-Clark India, believes that having inclusive workspaces has become more crucial with changing work dynamics. Dhar says inclusion is a strategic capability that must be built from inside out. In a conversation with TOI, Dhar says that while diversity and inclusion are often seen as metrics for HR executives to drive, Kimberly-Clark believes in sharing this responsibility, with each employee being accountable for creating a safe and inclusive work environment for their colleagues.
