Private equity and venture capital deals dip 9% year-on-year in Jan-May
CHENNAI: Private equity and venture capital investments declined 9% year-on-year to $15 billion during Jan-May this year. PE-VC deals, excluding real estate, stood at $16.4 billion during the corresponding 5-month period of 2025. May 2026 witnessed a revival in investment activity, with deal value rising 25% year-on-year, to $2.2 billion from $1.8 billion in May 2025.TNN
