NEW DELHI: Amkette, the computer essentials company, on Thursday said the launch of its Series ''A'' range of peripherals is expected to push its revenues this fiscal by around 40 per cent over last year''s figure of Rs 70 crore.
The Series ''A'' range includes an ergonomically designed wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, multimedia office keyboard, optical noiseless wheel mouse and an Internet noiseless wheel 3D mouse, managing director of Amkette Rajiv Bapna said at the launch.
"Heavy keyboard users have been complaining of repetitive strain injuries caused to hands, arms and shoulders. The ''A'' type keyboards are designed to address such health problems," Bapna said.
Declining to divulge the exact figures about investment for the equipment, Bapna said, "we have made substantial investment".
The products are being promoted through roadshows across the country and were available in 110 cities through a network of 500 distributors and 600 retailers, he added.
