The Duryodhan of small screen Puneet Issar's stay in the Bigg Boss 8 house has been full of controversies. Whether it was his aggressive attitude or dominating nature, the actor has always been in news for wrong reasons throughout his stay in the house. However, during his chat with TOI, Puneet justified all his actions. He says that contestants who are talking bad about him are just losers and he sympathizes with them.

"I don't think that the evicted contestants have any right to talk about me as I was not the one who eliminated them from the show. They were eliminated by the janta (public) and I only had the power to nominate, which is the format of the show. I can only say that the people who are talking about me after being eliminated are bad losers. They are not taking the game in the right spirit. Bigg Boss is a game and not life. The people, who were eliminated, were rejected by the public because they were non-performers. I did my bit and was entertaining people, so I was there till the end of the season 8," explains Puneet.

Ask him about him being disappointed about not be a part of the Halla Bol series in spite being on the show for so long, he quips, "I am not at all disappointed. In fact I consider it as an achievement that I was able to sustain in the show for so long. At the age of 56, I gave my full energy each day. All the days that I spent in the house, I showed full conviction. I am happy that I have walked out of the show gracefully. The finale of Bigg Boss was decided to happen on January 3, 2014, and I am glad that I was part of it till the end," says the actor.

Commenting on Aarya Babbar's reaction after his exit from the show, Puneet said, "I think, as a man I shouldn't have lost my control, but I was apologetic about it. When I came back in the show, Bigg Boss made sure that I pay for my wrong doings and so I was kept in a jail. After doing all this and going through it, if Aarya is upset about it I can't do anything. I think it is his upbringing to behave in such a way. But in future if I meet him anywhere, I will make sure that I will be nice to him, hug him and give my blessings.

When asked about the five challengers that Bigg Boss has introduced in the show, Puneet says, "I think it is unfair to introduce five contestants at this point of time in the game. They have spent almost three and a half months inside the house. When these new contestants will come, they will obviously have advantage and enthusiasm with them. But I would like to say when the going gets tough, the tough get going."

Puneet, who was known for sharing a close relationship with Gautam, wants him to win the show. "He is my Simba, I want him to win the show. If not him then Pritam or Ali should win the show."
