Bigg Boss 8: Highlights of the finale

Gautam Gulati has claimed that he knew he would win Bigg Boss 8 a month before he was announced as the winner or so claims a report in Mumbai Mirror. When quizzed about his chances in the report, Gautam has revealed that, “I had a gut feeling. I knew a month before the show ended that I'd win it. I was tortured for four months but never lost my cool. After the fight with Karishma Tanna, I was isolated but didn't lose hope. I clung on to Salman sir's words that 'Aapki zindagi iss ghar ke bahar hai, yahaan aap sirf insaan ya victory chose karte ho' after the incident.'"

Gautam Gulati was announced as the winner of Bigg Boss Halla Bol. He was one of the most popular contestants on the show which was in its eighth season. The small screen actor has also seen a lot of support outside the house with fans posting about him.This season of Bigg Boss was extended by a month, which was hosted by choreographer-turned-filmmaker, Farah Khan. Besides Gautam, the other finalists on the show were Pritam and Karishma Tanna. Read on to know about the highlights of the finale.

One of the most interesting twists of the finale was when Rajat Sharma came on the show. Along with his famous 'kachehri' he started to cross-examine the three finalists - Karishma, Pritam and Gautam. While Karishma in the past had fought for her dignity, Rajat Sharma questioned her if getting intimate with Upen Patel on national television was dignified. Karishma retorted, "Whatever I was doing was my personal choice. I was fully aware of what I was doing and it is my personal life. Of course if there are 80 cameras then there is no personal life but I have done it."

The final contestants in the house were Gautam, Pritam, Dimpy, Karishma and Ali. Malaika Arora Khan stepped in the Bigg Boss house and everyone performed with the diva. Sonakshi Sinha too was present at the Grand Finale and performed on some of her hit numbers. While Pritam decided to give one of his jhappis to Sonakshi, she decided to return his favour with a pappi.

The Khatron Ke Khiladi team also came up on the stage to perform. Contestants of the show and the host, Rohit Shetty, added a good dose of action to the reality show. Rohit Shetty made the contestants pull off a cycling stunt through a glass sheet. It was indeed a very thrilling and entertaining act done by the participants. Post all the stunts, the finalits stepped out of the Bigg Boss house for the finale.
