2024 Hyundai Santa Fe in pics: First time boxy design, features and more

Korean Automaker Hyundai globally revealed the next-gen Hyundai Santa Fe SUV. This is the fifth generation and the SUV gets a complete overhaul in design. In this slideshow, let’s take a look at its design, features, interior and more.

The next-generation Santa Fe is based on Hyundai’s new design language. The front design looks like it has taken inspiration from the newly launched Exter micro SUV. The new Santa Fe looks completely new and does not resemble the previous generation.

The SUV gets a boxy silhouette and is similar to Range Rover Defender. At the front, it gets H-shaped LED DRLs with connecting LED headlights. The Hyundai logo has been placed on the bonnet and the lower part of the bumper gets an H-shaped motif.

The SUV rides on multi-spoke blacked-out 21-inch alloy wheels. On side, it gets an unbroken beltline and roofline. At the rear, it features a large glass area and the lower section houses the tail lamp unit.

ust like the exterior, the interior of the new Santa Fe is all new. It’s based on Hyundai’s new design language and a single curved panel for the instrument cluster and infotainment system.

The SUV gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with another 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a new Ui. The interior too features boxy design elements such as the aircon vents and climate control panel on the central console.

The Santa Fe gets three-row seating and both can be folded down to maximise the space for cargo use. The company has not revealed the exact numbers.

The company has not revealed any features of the SUV. Expected features include Panoramic sunroof, Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, connected car tech, four-zone automatic climate control, heated and cooled seats, leatherette seats, Alexa and Home to Car connectivity, ambient lightning, electric seats and many more.

The SUV will most importantly get ADAS features such as Adaptive cruise control, Lane Follow Assist (LFA), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Auto High-Beam Assist and more.

The company also has not revealed the engine and gearbox options. It is expected to come with a 2.5-litre turbocharged Petrol engine paired with a torque converter automatic gearbox. Hyundai could also offer hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.
