Triumph 1200 X: What’s new

The difference that sets the Scrambler 1200 X and the 1200 XC models apart lies in their seat heights. The 1200 X boasts a lower seat height, set at 820 mm but further adjustable to 795 mm, catering to shorter riders and improving accessibility.

Furthermore, the suspension setup of the 1200X is simpler compared to other Scrambler 1200 models. It has non-adjustable front forks and a rear Marzocchi monoshock with adjustable preload.

For braking duties, both models get twin front and single rear disc brake units. However, the Scrambler 1200 X features axially mounted Nissin calipers for braking as opposed to the Brembo M50 calipers found on the more expensive 1200 XC model.
