Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) today officially launched the new Shine 100 motorcycle in India at Rs 64,900 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). The two-wheeler manufacturer is offering the Shine 100 with a 3-year standard warranty and 3-year optional extended warranty. Bookings for the new Honda Shine 100 starts today and deliveries will start from May 2023. Production of the most affordable Honda bike will commence from April 2023.

Honda Shine 100: Color options
The Honda Shine 100 will be available in five color options - Black with red stripes, Black with blue stripes, Black with green stripes, Black with gold stripes and Black with grey stripes.

Honda Shine 100: Engine and mileage
At the heart, the motorcycle is powered by an all-new 100cc OBD2 compliant PGM-FI engine, boosted by Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) that delivers high fuel efficiency, optimum performance and less emissions, says HMSI. The engine produces around 8 bhp power and it comes mated with a four-speed manual transmission. HMSI claims that the Honda Shine 100 will offer a fuel economy of 60 kmpl.

Honda Shine 100: Features
The Honda Shine 100 gets a long seat of 677mm, providing ample space for rider and the pillion. Additionally, it gets a uniquely designed tank and a narrow leg opening angle. It has a seat height of 786mm and a ground clearance of 168mm. Other features include side stand with engine inhibitor and Combi-Brake System (CBS) with equalizer.

Design inspired by the Honda Shine 125, the new Honda Shine 100 comes equipped with all-black alloy wheels, aluminum grab rail, sleeker-looking muffler, halogen headlamp and bold tail-lamp.
