Hero MotoCorp has launched a new sportier variant of the Pleasure Plus called Pleasure Xtec Sports. The new variant has been priced at Rs 79,738 (ex-showroom) and it sits between the top-spec Xtec Connected and ZX variants. With the introduction of the new Sports variant, the Pleasure Plus Xtec is now available in a total of six variants.
The new Sports variant features a new Abrax Orange Blue colour scheme, with blue as the primary shade and orange as the secondary shade. It also gets an ‘18’ number decal on both side panels and the on front apron. It also gets a body-coloured grab rail and orange pinstripes along the rim on the blacked-out alloy wheels.
The Pleasure Xtec Sports is powered by a 110.9 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which puts out 8 bhp of power and 8.7 Nm of torque. It comes paired with a CVT transmission. The Scooter is suspended by a telescopic fork at the front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Braking is duties are taken care of by 130 mm drum brakes at both ends.
In terms of features, the scooter gets LED lighting, a semi-digital unit with an LCD for instrumentation, Bluetooth connectivity with call and SMS alerts and 10-inch alloy wheels. The scooter weighs 106 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 4.8 litres.
