2026 Bajaj Avenger Street 220 launched: Pricing, specs & more

Bajaj Auto has quietly launched the 2026 Avenger Street 220 in India. The updated cruiser motorcycle has now been listed on the company’s official website with a price tag of Rs 1.30 lakh, ex-showroom. Recently, Bajaj had also discontinued the smaller Avenger Street 160 from the Indian market. This means the Avenger lineup now consists of just two models: the Avenger Cruise 220 and the new Avenger Street 220.

2026 Bajaj Avenger Street 220: Key details

The new Avenger Street 220 gets a 220cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine. The motor produces 19 hp and 17.6 Nm of peak torque, and comes paired with a five-speed gearbox.

While the mechanical setup remains unchanged compared to the Cruise, Bajaj has made several styling and ergonomic changes to give the Street 220. Compared to the Cruise 220, the Street gets a flatter and lower-set handlebar. The motorcycle also gets a shorter flyscreen instead of the tall windshield seen on the Avenger Cruise 220. Another notable change is the absence of a pillion backrest.


In terms of design, the Avenger Street 220 follows a blacked-out theme across the engine, exhaust and cycle parts. Bajaj is offering the motorcycle in two colour options: Ebony Black and Cocktail Wine Red. Unlike the Avenger Cruise 220, which uses wire-spoke wheels with tube-type tyres, the Street 220 comes equipped with alloy wheels and tubeless tyres.
