2024 Kawasaki Ninja 300 launched at Rs 3.43 lakh: What's new in this made-in-India model
Kawasaki India has launched the 2024 iteration of the Ninja 300, priced at Rs 3.43 lakh, ex-showroom. The model has been on sale in India since the past decade but has received a handful of changes over the time, including the adoption of ABS. Manufactured locally in India, the 2024 Ninja 300 also remains unchanged mechanically but gets two new colour options: Candy Lime Green and Metallic Moondust Grey, joining the existing Lime Green to provide riders with a broader selection.
The 2024 Ninja 300 retains the familiar 296cc parallel-twin engine, delivering 39 hp and 26.1 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, featuring an assist and slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 features a robust diamond frame, complemented by 37 mm telescopic front forks and a gas-charged monoshock absorber at the rear. Its braking system includes 290 mm petal discs at the front and 220 mm petal discs at the rear, ensuring reliable stopping power. The brand has equipped the Kawasaki Ninja 300 with 110/70-17 section front tyres and 140/70-17 section rear tyres. It weighs 179 kg and has a fuel capacity of 17 litres. Its ground clearance is 140mm.
This motorcycle competes with other fully-faired bikes such as the TVS Apache RR310, Aprilia RS 457, KTM RC 390, and Yamaha R3.
