Assembly grieves loss of a popular politician

new delhi: remembering senior congress leader madhavrao scindia as a popular politician and an able administrator, the delhi assembly on monday expressed grief at his untimely demise. chief minister sheila dikshit said scindia's death has not only been a blow to the congress which has lost a charismatic leader but the nation also has lost a great administrator.she said scindia's tenure as union railway minister under rajiv gandhi was legendary. leader of the opposition jagdish mukhi said scindia was popular across party lines and that the masses loved him as well. he expressed condolences to the families of the four journalists who perished in the plane crash on sunday.
