'The Notebook' star Ryan Gosling has given up smoking after gassing himself with cigarettes while shooting his new movie 'The Nice Guys.'
The 35-year-old actor decided to quit the nasty habit after he unexpectedly gassed himself on the lung-damaging fumes while shooting his new movie 'The Nice Guys', in which he portrays chain-smoking private investigator Holland March.
"I use to (smoke), but in this movie I smoked myself out. I never want another cigarette again!" he said.
"It really is the greatest way to quit - it's hard to come by - you really have to get a film where you have to smoke all the time, but I highly recommend it if you are trying to quit," the actor said.
