Majithia’s bail plea deferred

Amritsar: The hearing on the anticipatory bail application of Shiromani Akali Dal leader and former MLA Bikram Singh Majithia was adjourned by a local court here on Wednesday.

Bhagwant Singh Sialka, Majithia's counsel, said the hearing in the case would now be held on Thursday.

He further said that the court granted relief to Bikramjit Singh Bath, Majithia's legal advisor, regarding the FIR about the alleged entry of Majithia and his supporters into the Majitha police station following the detention of a party worker.
