Bengaluru: The high court Wednesday dismissed a petition filed by Kamakshipalya police seeking cancellation of bail granted to five accused in Renukaswamy murder case. Actor Darshan and his friend Pavitra Gowda are the two main accused.

Justice S Rachaiah rejected the petitions wherein police sought cancellation of bail granted to Dhanraju D (accused no. 9), Puttaswamy alias Pavan K and Raghavendra (accused nos. 3 and 4), Nandeesh (accused no. 5) and V Vinay (accused no. 10). These five were granted bail by the trial court on Dec 23, 2024, two weeks after Darshan and others were given bail by high court.
