Exclusive! Kinshuk Vaidya complains of harassment, files police complaint against locals in Alibaug
Woh Toh Hai Albelaa actor Kinshuk Vaidya says he has been harassed by some locals from Alibaug for the past few months. The actor filed a complaint at Alibaug police station against the sarpanch of Nagaon for allegedly hiring land movers and damaging his staff gate.
Kinshuk said, "I own an ancestral property in Nagaon and converted it into a resort in December 2022. For the past few months, I have been facing harassment by the locals of Nagaon, Alibaug. This morning around 7.45 am, the sarpanch of Nagoan, Nikhil Mayekar instructed one of his friends who owns a land mover and the operator to break my staff gate. I have CCTV recordings of it. So, I decided to file a complaint at the Alibaug police station and I have submitted proof."
Kinshuk says he has been harassed by the locals because they want a bigger road and that can be built only by moving into his property limits. He said, "The locals, who live in the nearby area, have been asking for a wider road, which can be built by moving into a part of my property area and hence that is not possible."
He added, "I have faith in our country's judicial and law enforcement system. I want this harassment to stop." A complaint was registered at the Alibaug police station.

We spoke to Nikhil Mayekar, sarpanch of Nagaon, Alibaug. He said, "This is not true. He has lodged a complaint to just harass the people of the village. I will look into this matter tomorrow."

Abhijit Jadhav, Assistant Police Inspector, Alibaug police station, said, “A complaint was lodged by Kinshuk Vaidya against the sarpanch, the owner of the land mover company and the person who damaged the property. An FIR has been registered under Sections 426 and 427.”

Kinshuk has been part of many TV shows like Ek Rishta Sajhedari Ka, Shaka Laka Boom Boom, Jaat Na Poocho Prem Ki, Karn Sangini and more recently Woh Toh Hai Albelaa. He played the younger brother of Shaheer Sheikh in the show. The show wrapped up recently and the actor had said in an earlier interview, "It was a good journey. I am glad I was a part of such an interesting show."

If I had brothers, I am sure they would have been like Anuj and Shaheer, says Kinshuk Vaidya on his bond with his co-actors in Woh Toh Hai Albelaa

Kinshuk Vaidya is having a great time on the set of Woh Toh Hai Albelaa, which features Anuj Sachdeva and Shaheer Sheikh as his elder brothers. Much like on the show, Kinshuk is being pampered by his reel siblings in real life, too. Talking about his equation with Anuj and Shaheer, he says, “I don’t have a real sibling, but if I had one, I am sure he would have been as caring and doting as Anuj and Shaheer. While growing up, I yearned for a brother or a sister. Years later, I got lucky on screen and found not one but two brothers. Anuj and Shaheer are extremely caring and protective of me. In fact, during a scene, hot oil accidentally spilled on my hand. Shaheer immediately rushed towards me and got first-aid help. Anuj, too, is extremely loving. We didn’t have to try to forge this bond. It happened on its own and from the first day of the shoot. We didn’t feel like breaking the ice with each other or doing any workshops to build camaraderie. The bond we shared was instantaneous.”
